After 11 minutes, Gilesindo Tarapiella made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Vellon to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Moises Pereyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Bichineta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Malvin Vidaurre was slow to take the kick. During this time Caaguazu's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st minute Conrado Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Kasiewski. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Faron in the 38th minute of play. Eduardo Jordy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Arlo Albiz took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Eduardo Jordy to make any attempt to save it. Vincente Monzon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Lore went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Faron to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlo Albiz during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Arlo Albiz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Eduardo Jordy came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caaguazu's Gilesindo Tarapiella. But to his dismay, Gilesindo Tarapiella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Caaguazu's Mauro Bocaran was substituted for Reyes Barcenilla. In the 66th minute, Gilesindo Tarapiella made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Jordy. La Bichineta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When Mauro Bocaran came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Caaguazu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Bocaran couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Malvin Vidaurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Gilesindo Tarapiella made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Jordy. La Bichineta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. 81 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Pereyra came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Caaguazu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Baldomero Vellon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Faron came free, but Eduardo Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Lore in the 92nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Conrado Faron sped through La Bichineta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Jordy. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caaguazu fully deserved thier win.
