The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão Diniz in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Orange came free, but Niyazi Derim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Jabaquara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Fenomeno to maneuver through the defense. Niyazi Derim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Armando Orange's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Amadeu Porto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Falcão Orange quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Jabaquara SC's Paulão Diniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 25th minute Luiz Fabiano Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niyazi Derim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niyazi Derim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 25th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Chiquinho Guerra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niyazi Derim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niyazi Derim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Niyazi Derim came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Orange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 37 minutes in the game Falcão Orange did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dedé Quirino. Léo Salles hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Diego Armando Orange fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Diego Armando Orange a yellow card for diving instead. Diego Armando Orange kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jabaquara SC were furious when Quique Hrabina was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jabaquara SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Niyazi Derim had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Léo Salles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 49th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Paulão Diniz made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Paulão Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niyazi Derim was a little too slow when Diego Armando Orange got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Diniz in the 70th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Chiquinho Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Guerra having to interfere. Diego Armando Orange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Léo Salles in the 80th minute. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Niyazi Derim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Niyazi Derim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 88th minute of the match. Paulinho Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Guerra having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Orange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chiquinho Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Mourato hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange. Although Jabaquara SC had been in control for most of the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ still came away with the win.
