But to his dismay, Ren Xi Chen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Chiquinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Xi Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Oséias Orange, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ. Alfredinho de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sergio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro James in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Toninho Orange got a free kick in the 19th minute. April 25 SC's Ramiro James got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ defense, Ren Xi Chen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Guerra. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Guerra should have stopped the shot. Chiquinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro James in the 30th minute of play. Chiquinho Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Xi Chen in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Luiz Fabiano Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Orange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chiquinho Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Guerra came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by April 25 SC's Ramiro James. But to his dismay, Ramiro James quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 48th minute of the match, Luiz Fabiano Orange tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergio Romero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Orange made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Orange in the 52nd minute of play forced April 25 SC's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the game, Galo Orange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave April 25 SC the free kick. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ! Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ:s Chiquinho Guerra showed great skill when he stopped Antoni Augustyn:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as April 25 SC's Antoni Augustyn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chiquinho Guerra. That made the score 0-5 after 60 minutes of play. Oséias Orange charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Orange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The throw-in from Dedé Quirino in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by April 25 SC's Cristo Marques. Chiquinho Guerra made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ren Xi Chen sent off a good shot on target. After 71 played minutes April 25 SC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Marques. Ren Xi Chen came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chiquinho Guerra could save by the left post. In the 74th match minute, April 25 SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro James to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Dedé Quirino in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by April 25 SC's Cristo Marques. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rubens Cerezo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's zone, Ramiro James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Guerra came out of the goal and Ramiro James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Orange came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Ren Xi Chen took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Chiquinho Guerra to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Falcão Orange in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by April 25 SC's Cristo Marques. If Ren Xi Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chiquinho Guerra made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ren Xi Chen sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes April 25 SC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Marques. In the 96th minute, Ramiro James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched April 25 SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
