But to his dismay, Blanco Lambarida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Nova Venécia-ES's Luís Gustavo do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blanco Lambarida in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Dino Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Zuriko Lagala. Inter de Guayaquil FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 27 minutes into the game, Dino Tavares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zuriko Lagala. Dino Tavares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 30 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Leite came free, but Zuriko Lagala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Dário Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zuriko Lagala got control of the ball when Joaquim Rezende tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 minutes of play Inter de Guayaquil FC's Bottero Ramallal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 87 minutes of play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Vera Castro made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zuriko Lagala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Rezende in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Vicente Depino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Sanches came free, but Zuriko Lagala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Vicente Depino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Guayaquil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Venécia-ES the free kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nova Venécia-ES fully deserved thier win.
