The supporters of Galja Kraków booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Trochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Rasiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lech Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Rasiak in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Russówek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Hodyl who took care of the corner kick. In the 26th minute Piotr Adamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Lichniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th play minute Slawomir Szpakowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lech Nakoneczny. 1-0. In the 30th minute, Sebastian Hodyl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galja Kraków fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Stasio Prusinowski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes Sebastian Hodyl shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Lech Nakoneczny when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Boruc Rasiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lech Nakoneczny made a huge save. After 37 played minutes Galja Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Golota. The crowd rose to their feet as Galja Kraków's Boruc Rasiak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lech Nakoneczny. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boruc Rasiak was the one to do the kick off. Stasio Prusinowski kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lech Nakoneczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Rasiak in the 55th minute of the match. Slawomir Szpakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Nakoneczny having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Boruc Rasiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Nakoneczny was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Russówek's zone, Sebastian Hodyl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Nakoneczny came out of the goal and Sebastian Hodyl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Konrad Juroszek made a precise shot to the right of Lech Nakoneczny. Russówek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Radomil Golota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Jerzy Deput got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Golota in the 75th minute of play. Russówek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galja Kraków the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Zagrodny to maneuver through the defense. Galja Kraków walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
