Arsenal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vasiliy Kalmetev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Masker in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Verbeek in the 12th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Vasiliy Kalmetev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Sebastian Finman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemel SV the free kick. Sebastian Finman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Orlin in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymond Bos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Orlin in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Bos saved Lemel SV from getting behind. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Orlin in the 21st minute of play. Falco Boerma kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Arsenal FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Lemel SV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matthias Löfgren took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Matthias Löfgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raymond Bos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tonny Sneijder struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vasiliy Kalmetev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemel SV. Vasiliy Kalmetev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Masker in the 37th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Vasiliy Kalmetev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Verbeek came free, but Vasiliy Kalmetev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemel SV's Barry Masker got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Damaso Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Masker came free, but Vasiliy Kalmetev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Orlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Verbeek made a kick off. Vasiliy Kalmetev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Verbeek in the 56th minute of the match. Tonny Sneijder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasiliy Kalmetev having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Falco Boerma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
