SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SK Dreigoten from getting a goal against them. Andrei Rareș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Maerschalcx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucian Alexandrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelis Meys, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Hreapcă in the 33rd minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Rareș got free with Jo Maerschalcx in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, FC Urzicuța's Andrei Rareș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jo Maerschalcx. Jo Maerschalcx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

Sabin Hreapcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Rareș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Van Laer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Dreigoten's zone, Andrei Rareș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jo Maerschalcx came out of the goal and Andrei Rareș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornelis Meys scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucian Alexandrescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Cornelis Meys reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucian Alexandrescu. The goal made the score 2-2. 76 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Hreapcă came free, but Jo Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Bungescu. Lucian Alexandrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelis Meys, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Lucian Alexandrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelis Meys in the 82nd minute of the match.
