A sloppy throw-in by Eduard Dumitrana in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yala's Aquilino Inautzi. In the 55th minute, Petrică Dragu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlashers's Horea Afloroaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Bizen in the 95th minute of play.
