Matthew Jastrzembowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Sanches in the 6th minute of the match. Jacinto Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jacinto Neto hit a great ball. Walt Schräder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Senna having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Jakob Karhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Evaristo Cruz hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Hamburg Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burkhard Niebler to maneuver through the defense. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Carlos Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Jastrzembowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 28th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Leonel Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthew Jastrzembowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Matthew Jastrzembowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 41st minute of play. Noel Pombal struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Club RRFV. Jens Stober hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Futbol Club RRFV's Tomé Martins tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luka Reich to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Pombal came free, but Matthew Jastrzembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Sanches took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthew Jastrzembowski. Matthew Jastrzembowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. André Luís Martins hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes, Diamantino Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club RRFV and the Hamburg Fighters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Senna. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walt Schräder during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Walt Schräder hit a great ball. Matthew Jastrzembowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Jastrzembowski came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club RRFV's Leonel Sanches. But to his dismay, Leonel Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Leonel Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Matthew Jastrzembowski made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Futbol Club RRFV's Leonel Sanches ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matthew Jastrzembowski. Matthew Jastrzembowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 95th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Futbol Club RRFV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
