Lolo Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammet Cakir in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Segundo Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muhammet Cakir didn't quite understand what happened when in the 12 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Holfenhein's José Büchel in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Scaloneta's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute José Büchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lolo Lorenzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lolo Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Büchel in the 28th minute of play. Pius Zurflüh made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Scaloneta's Guaberto Quinto. Pius Zurflüh kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anibal Manilan managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Manilan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulrich Haas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lolo Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Büchel in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Manilan in the 39th minute of play forced Holfenhein's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Andres Longo got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Rissi Risch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lolo Lorenzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Abar got free with Ulrich Haas in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anibal Manilan was the one to do the kick off. Holfenhein's Ulrich Haas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Manilan in the 54th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Muhammet Cakir made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Scaloneta's Lolo Lorenzo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulrich Haas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Manilan went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Lázaro Abar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Holfenhein's Ulrich Haas. Ulrich Haas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Tal Hanes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The nice shot from José Büchel in the 73rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Lolo Lorenzo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Kevin Poonoly kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Lázaro Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Holfenhein's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Manilan came free, but Ulrich Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulrich Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Quinto during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Guaberto Quinto hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Büchel got free with Lolo Lorenzo in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Scaloneta's attentive Cosme Amato managed to snatch the ball when Pius Zurflüh made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the La Scaloneta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
