Gloria's 陶洲烨 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Claeys in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antonio Claeys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Ikalewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes, Henri-Xavier Van Langhendonck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ouagadougou National and the Gloria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Maule to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes, Gloria's Nicoló Barella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antonio Claeys came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gloria reached it. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pieter-Jan Rummens sped through Gloria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isaias Baleren. 25 minutes into the match, Gloria's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter-Jan Rummens came free, but Isaias Baleren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the game Haroldo Maule made a throw-in which Rafael Ramone played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Donzel in the 35th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Antonio Claeys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Claeys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Donzel in the 36th minute of the match. Nicoló Barella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Antonio Claeys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Ramone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gloria's goalkeeper Isaias Baleren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Ramone to make the kick off. Antonio Claeys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Ramone in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Antonio Claeys got control of the ball when Anastasio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 minutes, 陶洲烨 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gloria and the FC Ouagadougou National players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gloria fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Antonio Claeys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Ikalewicz in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Ramone came free, but Antonio Claeys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
