In the 14th match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Pietrowiak to maneuver through the defense. Czeslaw Kostrzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tony Schumacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czeslaw Kostrzewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Schumacher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Czeslaw Kostrzewski ran back to his position shaking his head. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Jimeno Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Chao Hui in the 22nd minute of play. Jimeno Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hamit Afgan in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Zheng Chao Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Afgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute.
