The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Almeyra F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeremy White was slow to take the kick. During this time ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's players had a chance to rest. Jeremy White made a great header on ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's corner, it was just that Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 5th minute, Marco Herensuge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Llorian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Gaston Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Herensuge in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Abecia came free, but Clodoveo Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gaston Danel came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Danel couldn't finish the play. When Victoriano Iliana came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Iliana couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Lucero. 27 minutes into the game, Gaston Danel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Froilan Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 32 minutes, Marco Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Danel came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Llorian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Herensuge went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Froilan Llorian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Danel's shot from short distance in the 41st minute.
When Marco Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Herensuge couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Jeremy White shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Froilan Llorian but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian got control of the ball when Marco Herensuge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Lucero to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Marco Herensuge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Llorian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. 71 minutes into the game, Almeyra F.C.'s Omar Abecia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Ursino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Hugo Lucero got a free kick in the 74th minute. A hard shot 75 in the game by Gaston Danel from a close distance when the talented Froilan Llorian managed to make a qualified save. Almeyra F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 77th minute, Marco Herensuge made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Llorian. Almeyra F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. Froilan Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Herensuge in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Omar Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Danel came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Marco Herensuge made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Llorian was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Danel got free with Froilan Llorian in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hugo Lucero fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almeyra F.C.'s protests and gave Hugo Lucero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Herensuge in the 93rd minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Marco Herensuge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
