KFC Cromvelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Sobeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Albertus Van Nel hit a great ball. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Sobeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Tarık Sehhar came free, but Gunter Roeckeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunter Roeckeloes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tarık Sehhar went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Sobeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Rickard Thidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gunter Roeckeloes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Thidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 47th playminute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarık Sehhar. Gunter Roeckeloes made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mustafa Barış Yarlık sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Cromvelde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hikmet Şafakgün was slow to take the kick. During this time LOI's players had a chance to rest. In the 65th minute, Atahan Doğanlar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Cesare to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Tarık Sehhar came free, but Gunter Roeckeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Sobeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Alexander Vercauteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Cromvelde's Gunter Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarık Sehhar in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Joppe Wortelers got a free kick in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, LOI's Hikmet Şafakgün broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The LOI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
