Tanush Çarçani took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Peruxu. Celedonio Peruxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Zeng Chang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Celedonio Peruxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celedonio Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Queraria in the 12th minute of play. Ronaldo Queraria hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Queraria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Celedonio Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Peruxu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeng Chang went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Ronaldo Queraria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ronaldo Queraria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Queraria came free, but Celedonio Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Martin de Tucuman's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guto Campidelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Guto Campidelis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Martin de Tucuman's Celedonio Peruxu did a great save. In the 44th minute, Tanush Çarçani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Peruxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Gizon to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Herminio Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Celedonio Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Queraria. In the 55th minute, Dennys Gøl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Peruxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Hector Gizon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Tanush Çarçani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Tanush Çarçani made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Peruxu. San Martin de Tucuman's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga made a substitution. Mathías Queraria replaced Dennys Gøl. 76 minutes into the match, Zeng Chang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celedonio Peruxu, 0-9. Hector Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Hector Gizon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Zé Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guto Campidelis 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. Celedonio Peruxu stood somewhat misplaced when Ronaldo Queraria came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 87 minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Richard Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Vargas. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clube Atl. Taquaritinga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
