The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Froila got free with Sven-Olof Örtendal in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 minutes of play, Ocean´s Eleven's Weldon Myrick made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Stephen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ocean´s Eleven's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Hedenskog in the 25th minute. Henrik Hedenskog made a great header on Ocean´s Eleven's corner, it was just that Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 29th minute, Henrik Hedenskog made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Stephen. Águilas Poblanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Lund in the 31st minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Fabricio Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Mateus in the 34th minute of play forced Ocean´s Eleven's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Örtendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Henrik Hedenskog cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fabricio Stephen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Stellan Lund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Stephen was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Lund in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Martin Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stellan Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Simon Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Tingberg in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Ocean´s Eleven booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Hedenskog in the 70th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Fabricio Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Hedenskog took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabricio Stephen. Fabricio Stephen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Tingberg in the 74th minute of play. Fabricio Stephen came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ocean´s Eleven's Simon Hedlund. But to his dismay, Simon Hedlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 82nd play minutes Paulinho Guará shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Fabricio Stephen and just under the crossbar into goal. 87 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Fabricio Stephen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Hedenskog. Fabricio Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Guará, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ocean´s Eleven's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
