Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artemio Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Danel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Gartxot hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Angel Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Alejo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Haroldo Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Frutos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maravilla's Zeledon Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Iratze in the 20th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Artemio Iratze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Danel. Artemio Iratze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Zeledon Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38th play minutes Artemio Iratze shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Zeledon Danel and just under the crossbar into goal. 41 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Danel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 44th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Danel was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Haroldo Frutos made the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Cedro. If Haroldo Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eulalio Nerio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Artemio Iratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Danel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Zeledon Danel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eulalio Nerio's late challenge caught a Luganeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Nerio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eulalio Nerio hit a great ball. Zeledon Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Vicente Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Vicente Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Danel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Iratze in the 88th minute of play. Artemio Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zeledon Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Ernesto Urtsua got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Artemio Iratze made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Danel. Maravilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.
