Alejo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Hajder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sylwester Hajder got free with Alejo Gaspard in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Eustacio Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Morena's Corrado Giacchetti quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Siro Mercurio, made in the 15th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Fabiano De Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejo Gaspard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylwester Hajder in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sylwester Hajder in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Gaspard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustacio Estavan was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 25th match minute, Luganeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Estavan to maneuver through the defense. AC Morena's Biagio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Iratze in the 28th minute of play. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Di Sipio in the 30th minute of play. The throw-in from Amancio Jerrald in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AC Morena's Biagio Di Loreto. 47 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Iratze came free, but Biagio Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Iratze made a kick off. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Siro Mercurio hit a great ball. Artemio Iratze struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Biagio Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano De Filippo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 65 minutes, Sylwester Hajder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Morena and the Luganeros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Iratze in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artemio Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Biagio Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Artemio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Jerrald made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AC Morena's Alvaro Schirru. Sylwester Hajder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biagio Polo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Vicente Richie sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Artemio Iratze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Polo. AC Morena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Iratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 94th minute, Fabiano De Filippo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Polo having to interfere. Luganeros AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
