The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Seber got free with Eliáš Kotek in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Sá in the 22nd minute of play. Froghino's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Manduca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Fernado. After a defensive mix-up in Froghino's zone, Mauro Fernado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliáš Kotek came out of the goal and Mauro Fernado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when DeMarcus Dailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, DeMarcus Dailey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Froghino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Froghino's DeMarcus Dailey made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61 minutes Juventud Antoniana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was DeMarcus Dailey who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Froghino's DeMarcus Dailey to fire away a dangerous shot which Celso Demario despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Froghino's Cauã Sá got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eliáš Kotek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Sá in the 67th minute of the match. DeMarcus Dailey, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Miguel Ponce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliáš Kotek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Celso Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Manduca's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A collision led to Froghino getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vendelín Jasanský hit a great ball. Eliseo Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Antoniana's zone, DeMarcus Dailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Demario came out of the goal and DeMarcus Dailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Juventud Antoniana's Eugenio Hernando got a free kick in the 86th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Celso Demario successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilbert Manduca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Froghino's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
