Armando Guerreiro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 41st minute. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Armando Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Arturo Filippini went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Guerreiro in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Matxin saved 17 de enero team from getting behind. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when 17 de enero team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Honorio Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 de enero team's Prospero Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Efraim in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Petrigai during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Augusto Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Filippini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prospero Matxin. 17 de enero team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 17 de enero team's zone, Honorio Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Matxin came out of the goal and Honorio Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Matxin came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim. But to his dismay, Honorio Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 96 minutes into the game, Honorio Efraim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Prospero Matxin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sport Club Mavericks had won after a very even match.
