Mario Jesus Jardel started the match with the kick off. When Mario Jesus Jardel came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the CA Portugália fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Jesus Jardel couldn't finish the play. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Björklund in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes CA Portugália's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hubert Henriksson who took care of the corner kick. When CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mellbystrand IK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th match minute, Mellbystrand IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasil Krezhov to maneuver through the defense. Mario Jesus Jardel struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Joseph Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Portugália. The supporters of Mellbystrand IK booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günalp Boysel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Urbes came free, but Rogério Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Claudinei Tasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rogério Soberano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Urbes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Candido Urbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Soberano having to make a save. The supporters of CA Portugália booed when Mellbystrand IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasil Krezhov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Candido Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Candido Urbes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogério Soberano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Urbes's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The supporters of CA Portugália booed when Mellbystrand IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Barral was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Joseph Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jesus Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mellbystrand IK's Joseph Söderberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Tasso during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joseph Söderberg came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel. But to his dismay, Mario Jesus Jardel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. CA Portugália's Xandinho Kane was substituted for Mario Jesus Jardel. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mellbystrand IK defense, Xandinho Kane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Söderberg. The Mellbystrand IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Söderberg should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Xandinho Kane made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Söderberg. Mellbystrand IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Norbert Tamulewicz hit a great ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Portugália's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Magne Holmberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Mellbystrand IK's players had a chance to rest. When Anísio Moraes tried to clear up in front of Rogério Soberano it went so bad that he instead put the ball under the crossbar into own goal, a very annoying self made goal which led to 5-1. Mellbystrand IK were furious when Jakob Holmgren was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mellbystrand IK! Mellbystrand IK:s Joseph Söderberg showed great skill when he stopped Norbert Tamulewicz:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Portugália had won after a very even match.
