Damaso Checa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tautvydas Mickevičius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cavaliers FC side.
