Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Carlucci in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the S.S.C. NAPOLI defense, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Cellucci. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Cellucci should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Cellucci. S.S.C. NAPOLI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Cellucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emilio Cellucci made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Cellucci having to make a save. With a little luck, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Emilio Cellucci got control of the ball when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. NAPOLI and deserved their victory. The S.S.C. NAPOLI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
