An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Vergos in the 32nd minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristi Borza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristi Borza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's protests and gave Mircea Jupân a yellow card for diving instead. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Vergos in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Sotiris Vergos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig. Branco FC made a substitution. Siro Oroitz replaced Victorino Bidun. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Cârlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sotiris Vergos in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. Evelio Tonio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Sebastian Istodor hit a great ball. Branco FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
