The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Stoiciu came free, but Ari Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermenegildo Lerga hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Ari Strömberg got control of the ball when Gheorghe Stoiciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horia Moisescu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Moisescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Moisescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Hogaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Czubski in the 14th minute of play. Marco Ruben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Hogaș having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ruben came free, but Manuel Hogaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Moisescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Escajadillo in the 30th minute of play. Manuel Hogaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Escajadillo in the 32nd minute of the match. Izydor Czubski scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Hogaș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Izydor Czubski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Hogaș having to interfere. Iosif Doicaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ari Strömberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Iosif Doicaru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Doicaru. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Izydor Czubski to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Ruben kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Hogaș. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Doicaru in the 56th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Ari Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Czubski hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Walmir Fantini was substituted for Raúl Pimentel. After a rather tough play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Marco Ruben got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gheorghe Stoiciu struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ari Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rasnita. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Izydor Czubski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Hogaș. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Izydor Czubski came free and shot a quick shot against goal 85 minutes in the game, fortunately Manuel Hogaș had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Iosif Doicaru came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Rasnita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Doicaru couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Paul Ene.
