Finn Eidsvåg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Pampulov in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Petri during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Branco FC booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finn Eidsvåg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Gargasz in the 22nd minute of play. Branco FC's Esteban Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Branco FC from getting a goal against them. The Branco FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Branco FC's Tomas Pampulov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evaristo Jago struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Finn Eidsvåg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Branco FC. Victorino Bidun hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by J.J Boss during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by J.J Boss to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Israel Petri made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Hetman in the 53rd minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Esteban Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sotiris Vergos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Finn Eidsvåg made a huge save. Ludomil Gargasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn Eidsvåg having to interfere. Filomeno Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Esteban Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Malkoçoğlu in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sotiris Vergos took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Finn Eidsvåg to make any attempt to save it. Branco FC were furious when Leonides Eriz was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 75th minute, Leonides Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
