The crowd rose to their feet as Carlitos p'Bitek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Galindo. That made the score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. Gustavo Galindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derek Neyens in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Derek Neyens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Galindo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Gustavo Galindo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Gustavo Galindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 34 minutes into the game, Carlitos p'Bitek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Galindo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romelio Komar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 38 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derek Neyens got free with Gustavo Galindo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Romelio Komar sped through Candelaria FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Galindo. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Romelio Komar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Galindo came out of the goal and Romelio Komar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romelio Komar made a kick off. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlitos p'Bitek in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Derek Neyens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Derek Neyens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fohat Neyen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Somayina Cartagena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fohat Neyen's supporters rose to their feet, but Somayina Cartagena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derek Neyens in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Galindo saved Candelaria FC from getting behind. When Fohat Neyen's Somayina Cartagena in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria FC's goalie prevented a goal. Somayina Cartagena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 77 minutes, Eleuterio Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Fohat Neyen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute Romelio Komar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Fohat Neyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Olivieri to maneuver through the defense.
