In the 10th minute Justavino Centeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidalgo Gallegos in the 21st minute of the match. Ismael Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Holm in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Holm got free with Ismael Rossell in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Holm to make the kick off.
