Nacional's Hugo Araya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional from getting a goal against them. Gustave Héron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Carneiro got free with Gustave Héron in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustave Héron was a little too slow when Gonzalo Carneiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-5. Hugo Araya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Högman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herblay's goalkeeper Gustave Héron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
