The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Sampaio. The supporters of Salelles booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Astudillo in the 6th minute. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 16thth minute of the game Marcel Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salelles's Ahmed Venon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmed Venon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Salelles's Aritz Arias got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes of play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Marcel Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Venon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Marcel Queirós sped through Salelles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmed Venon. 30 minutes into the game, Marcel Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salelles the free kick. After 30 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Queirós. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Queirós in the 32nd minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Ahmed Venon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Matthew De la Torre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salelles and the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Salelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew De la Torre to maneuver through the defense. If Giorgio Camacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Salelles's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Queirós came free, but Ahmed Venon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fidel Astudillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doriva Simões. That made the score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Fidel Astudillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Simões. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Astudillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 48 minutes into the match, Salelles's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Queirós came free, but Ahmed Venon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Marin to strike the kick off in the second half. Doriva Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew De la Torre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Marin scored 3-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doriva Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Salelles's Cedro Huguet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cedro Huguet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Salelles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cedro Huguet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when Salelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedro Huguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Júnior Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Tinoco couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Salelles's goalkeeper Ahmed Venon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Queirós. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Artur Sarmento hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Salelles got a freekick which was hit by Aritz Arias. In the 80th minute, Toninho Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Artur Sarmento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmed Venon, 3-3. Ahmed Venon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Fidel Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Doriva Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Salelles's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Sampaio came free, but Ahmed Venon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Natã Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salelles were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ for a fine match.
