The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwyn Lawson got free with Zenon Cipinski in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Galena Kielce's Zenon Cipinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Galena Kielce from getting a goal against them. Zenon Cipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyn Lawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Teofilio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Galena Kielce's Wiktor Domanski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galena Kielce reached it. Zenon Cipinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Lore in the 27th minute. If Gustaw Kordalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Cipinski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwyn Lawson in the 40th minute of play forced Galena Kielce's goalkeeper Zenon Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Genaro Nataniel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zenon Cipinski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd match minute, Galena Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Arbaszewski to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 69 minutes, Wiktor Domanski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galena Kielce and the Tigre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galena Kielce's Mariusz Czempa got a free kick in the 70th minute. Zenon Cipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyn Lawson in the 71st minute of the match. Gustaw Kordalewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Stefan Orlicki made a huge save. Tigre's Saverio Perpinya got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenon Cipinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwyn Lawson's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Bernardino Dantel charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Dantel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Juan Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tigre's Guillermo Sal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenon Cipinski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
