The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Paranaense in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kyle Bailey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyle Bailey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Espigão Steamrollers's zone, Fermin Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Catarinense came out of the goal and Fermin Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Tiniebra in the 23rd minute of play. Emerson Leal struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Kyle Bailey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espigão Steamrollers. After 32 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Pimenta. If Jimeno Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Mateo Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espigão Steamrollers's Emerson Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vicente Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Emerson Leal made the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Tiniebra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Tiniebra slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 51st minute. A collision led to Circulo San Andres FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Victoriano Umea hit a great ball. Circulo San Andres FC's Fernando Evangelista pulled a muscle in his leg after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zézinho Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Circulo San Andres FC made a substitution. Anacleto Soter replaced Fernando Evangelista. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Zézinho Matos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Válter Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Circulo San Andres FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Espigão Steamrollers:s goal. Kyle Bailey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Paranaense in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Zézinho Matos got a free kick in the 86th minute. Kyle Bailey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Kyle Bailey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Paranaense went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Yuri Paranaense succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Espigão Steamrollers lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
