After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ákos Bihari managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Budapest's supporters rose to their feet, but Ákos Bihari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Caiado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sporting Tuga FC's Eusébio Caiado got control of the ball when Miklós Fehér tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Budapest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignác Selymes in the 11th minute. FC Budapest's Ignác Selymes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eusébio Caiado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Félix Kis's late challenge caught a Sporting Tuga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Félix Kis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, FC Budapest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Kis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miklós Fehér got free with Eusébio Caiado in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Diogo Calçada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Hellinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félix Kis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Ákos Bihari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Caiado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Caiado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Bihari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Tuga FC's Eusébio Caiado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. The FC Budapest fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when FC Budapest's Miklós Fehér looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Diogo Calçada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Sporting Tuga FC got a freekick which was hit by Antero Couto. In the 46th minute, Miklós Fehér hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Sporting Tuga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mete Mete to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hélder Pimentel made the kick off in the second half. Telmo Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Viktor Edelényi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Botond Kutasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Caiado was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Budapest's Ignác Selymes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Bálint Hellinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Silveira in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Silveira in the 67th minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Botond Kutasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sporting Tuga FC's Eusébio Caiado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ákos Bihari in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Tuga FC defense, Ákos Bihari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Caiado. The Sporting Tuga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Caiado should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ákos Bihari in the 74th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Caiado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Miklós Fehér sped through Sporting Tuga FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusébio Caiado. Bálint Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Calçada, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Bálint Hellinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Mete in the 85th minute of the match. Sporting Tuga FC's Eusébio Caiado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ákos Bihari in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Paixão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Botond Kutasi in the 95th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Caiado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
