Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Norton in the 9th minute of play. Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Allen Deblois kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Hatta Arnawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Norton, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Emanuel Bazinet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Yoppie Duaramuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoine Norton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Antoine Norton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hatta Arnawa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antoine Norton struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hatta Arnawa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoine Norton in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hatta Arnawa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yoppie Duaramuris short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Emanuel Bazinet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Sport Lisboa e Benfica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Antoine Norton made the kick off in the second half. Satria Muttaqien's late challenge caught a Sport Lisboa e Benfica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Satria Muttaqien helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Satria Muttaqien hit a great ball. Antoine Norton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hatta Arnawa made a huge save. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Art Solomon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Satria Muttaqien in the 56 minute of the game. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Hatta Arnawa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Baba Turan hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Bazinet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bandung Tigers were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jem Butt took the corner. When Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Yoppie Duaramuri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Bazinet. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoppie Duaramuri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Dominic Hahn was substituted for Patrik Cane. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jared Temple was substituted for Lewis Horn. In the 85th minute, Yoppie Duaramuri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoine Norton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hatta Arnawa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
