The supporters of KAFSONAS F.C. booed when Rapsodas Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Hughes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Svirkos in the 13th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Jaunzuria Querendil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telis Ikonomou made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Aaron Amarita sent off a good shot on target. Telis Ikonomou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Amarita's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Aaron Amarita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telis Ikonomou was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the KAFSONAS F.C. defense, Aaron Amarita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telis Ikonomou. The KAFSONAS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telis Ikonomou should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while KAFSONAS F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
