Santiago Garay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gino Van Deijck made a huge save. Abel Van Clijnebreugel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leocadio De Pedro having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Robben De Vlaeminck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leocadio De Pedro. LosPibardos F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robben De Vlaeminck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Gorka Domenech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Vic De Geutter. Gino Van Deijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marques Quevedo in the 20th minute of the match. Henrik Van Brabandt made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cipriano Hendrickx however managed to control. After 27 minutes, Santiago Garay made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fauna Utd's Gino Van Deijck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robben De Vlaeminck in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leocadio De Pedro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gino Van Deijck was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Santiago Garay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Garay really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 45 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leocadio De Pedro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fauna Utd's Gino Van Deijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Garay in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Van Clijnebreugel to make the kick off. Leocadio De Pedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Van Deijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Garay in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Marcos Llorente notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Fauna Utd's Gino Van Deijck. Gino Van Deijck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leocadio De Pedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 66th minute of the match. Abel Van Clijnebreugel struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Leocadio De Pedro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. In the 72nd minute, Lucas Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Llorente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gino Van Deijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LosPibardos F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gorka Domenech hit a great ball. If Abel Van Clijnebreugel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Marcos Llorente elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gino Van Deijck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marques Quevedo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Abel Van Clijnebreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
