Marcos-Evangelista Didarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Van Clijnebreugel was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Hoancă got free with Gino Van Deijck in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Fauna Utd's Gino Van Deijck got control of the ball when Mihai Hoancă tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Mihai Hoancă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Mihai Hoancă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gino Van Deijck made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Denis Alibert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gino Van Deijck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When the match was over DINAMO PLOIESTI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fauna Utd throughout the match.
