After 37 minutes, Alessandro Vettori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XMAS and the Set Fire players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Fedele Scirea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Polidori was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Armando Polidori didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Set Fire's Fedele Scirea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Fedele Scirea took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Armando Polidori to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Minichiello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fedele Scirea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Polidori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Set Fire's Fedele Scirea made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Set Fire. Wladyslaw Brudzisz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Polidori. 10-0. Sasho Amiorkov kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. XMAS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
