The corner ended in Edelmiro Paskal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Charmander City's Feliks Dec did a great save. In the 15th minute, Delmiro Peto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Roth came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Truylos. In the 20th minute of the match Daniel Roth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Betadur skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute Dedê Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Charmander City were awarded a corner. Daniel Roth went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Layne Saron managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but Layne Saron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliks Dec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Andres Quintan hit a great ball. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Moreno in the 36th minute of play. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
