Oséas Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Javiar in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Artaldo in the 10th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Oséas Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Jackson Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Oséas Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Javiar in the 14th minute of play. Luis Artaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the ATHLETICO PRaiano defense, Teobaldo Javiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséas Mendonça. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséas Mendonça should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Luis Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Artaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséas Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Teobaldo Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jackson Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATHLETICO PRaiano's protests and gave Jackson Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Teobaldo Javiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teobaldo Javiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oséas Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Paulo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Nascimento in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Teobaldo Javiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Renacer del Quijano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Javiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséas Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

61 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Oséas Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Javiar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Teobaldo Javiar took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Oséas Mendonça to make any attempt to save it. Oséas Mendonça was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Teobaldo Javiar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teobaldo Javiar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Roque in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Javiar in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséas Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Oséas Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. Camilo Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Chicão Vargas got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lisandro Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jano França charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jano França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Jano França got a free kick in the 91st minute. When El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Javiar in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Renacer del Quijano FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
