Serafino Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Guto Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Capivara FC defense, Amado Vedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Célio Machado. The Capivara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Célio Machado should have stopped the shot. If Serafino Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Célio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Federigo in the 15th minute of play. Amauri Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, Guanacos's Honorato Federigo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Célio Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Vedillo in the 20th minute of the match. 0-3 became the score in the 29th minute when Serafino Tolino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Capivara FC's Célio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Tolino in the 32nd minute of play. Célio Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Vedillo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Tolino came free, but Célio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Honorato Federigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capivara FC's Célio Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteban Justin charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Justin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Justin. 46 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Bastos came free, but Celso Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Capivara FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guanacos were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvaldo Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Saraiva. Honorato Federigo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Célio Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Tolino in the 60th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper Célio Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Vedillo came free, but Célio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Machado having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Guanacos's Victorino Rio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victorino Rio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guanacos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victorino Rio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 70 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Rio. When Guanacos's Serafino Tolino in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capivara FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Serafino Tolino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafino Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Machado having to interfere. If Honorato Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Célio Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Federigo in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Honorato Federigo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio Machado, 0-4. After 91st play minutes Honorato Federigo shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Célio Machado and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Guanacos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capivara FC throughout the match.
