Edinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Tolin in the 8th minute of play. Medoacus Maior's Amos Cipollone got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ferruccio Traini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Medoacus Maior's Ferruccio Traini got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Damiano Tolin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cabrera in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Hong Xiang saved Medoacus Maior from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 31st minute of play forced Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Jiang Hong Xiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Traini in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Medoacus Maior got a corner. TZILACATZIN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damiano Tolin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Medoacus Maior's Damiano Tolin to fire away a dangerous shot which Edinho Lira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camillo Tolin got free with Edinho Lira in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Medoacus Maior's Ferruccio Traini to a score. 1-0 in the 37th minute. Damiano Tolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Edinho Lira made a huge save. Medoacus Maior's Damiano Tolin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Cabrera made the kick off in the second half. Jiang Hong Xiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera in the 52nd minute of play. Ferruccio Traini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Lira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Medoacus Maior defense, Daniel Cabrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiang Hong Xiang. The Medoacus Maior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiang Hong Xiang should have stopped the shot. Jiang Hong Xiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The supporters of Medoacus Maior booed when TZILACATZIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homero Thomson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinho Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferruccio Traini's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González was substituted for Daniel Cabrera. In the 73rd minute, Javier Chico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Jiang Hong Xiang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Homero Thomson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Tolin in the 87th minute of play forced TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Salvadore González ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jiang Hong Xiang was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Medoacus Maior's Johan Tingelholm got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jiang Hong Xiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvadore González in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
