After a rather tough play, De Keikoppers's Frans Gijselinghs got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Joseph Holmberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Gert-Jan Van de Velde skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ronnie Meck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armand Zimmer in the 13th minute of play. Joseph Holmbergs short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Gert-Jan Van de Velde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Reizers in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamil Reizers got free with Gert-Jan Van de Velde in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joseph Holmberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gert-Jan Van de Velde having to make a save. Ronnie Meck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kobe Vanneste in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Joseph Holmberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gert-Jan Van de Velde, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Samba Fotboll U21's Joseph Holmberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gert-Jan Van de Velde. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. De Keikoppers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Joseph Holmberg scored to the left of an out of position Gert-Jan Van de Velde, making the score, 5-0. Viktor Sillén's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde firmly grabbed it by the left post. Samba Fotboll U21 were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after De Keikoppers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Norström took the corner. Samba Fotboll U21's Kevin Norström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. De Keikoppers's Gert-Jan Van de Velde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Reizers in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kobe Vanneste made a kick off. Gong Ning Yong's late challenge caught a Samba Fotboll U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gong Ning Yong helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Gong Ning Yong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game Joseph Holmberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Keikoppers's Gert-Jan Van de Velde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Perry Stroobans with Armand Zimmer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Perry Stroobans, made in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 66th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wictor Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Holmberg in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Frans Gijselinghs threw the ball into play from the sideline. Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of De Keikoppers booed when Samba Fotboll U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Reizers in the 83rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Frans Gijselinghs in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 90th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Samba Fotboll U21 fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Samba Fotboll U21's Kamil Reizers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in De Keikoppers's zone, Joseph Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert-Jan Van de Velde came out of the goal and Joseph Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
