An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 12th minute of play forced KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronnie Meck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 15th minute of play. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronnie Meck firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Joseph Holmberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Santilli was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamil Reizers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
