Shao Hui Li scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kléber Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulinho Zanette came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean-Paul Daalmeyer could save by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shao Hui Li was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ezequiel Rutenio charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
