Deng Yan Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the DJVAGALUMY FC. defense, Dave Lorenzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléber Abreu. The DJVAGALUMY FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléber Abreu should have stopped the shot. Kléber Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Kléber Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 14th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Henrique Sergipano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Orzaize. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. In the 18th minute Sten Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Otsoa scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kléber Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hortensia FCG's Boleslaw Charlap got a free kick in the 25th minute. Santos Aurre lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Hortensia FCG:s Aristides Orzaize showed great skill when he stopped Paulinho Zanette:s penalty. Sten Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mauro Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hortensia FCG's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Otsoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Sergipano got free with Aristides Orzaize in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DJVAGALUMY FC. were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Hortensia FCG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulinho Zanette took the corner. In the 41st minute, João Pedro Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Orzaize made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Abelardo Neiva sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Otsoa was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Orzaize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Paulinho Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DJVAGALUMY FC. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Henrique Sergipano hit a great ball. The long shot by Sten Harlén in the 78th minute really tested Kléber Abreu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aristides Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Zanette in the 79th minute of play.
