The audience was convinced that Jano Cavalcante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlad Anghel was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Montevideo's Oleg Timofeev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. Cristinel Bocaneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Timofeev having to interfere.
