Reko-Recko 03™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gal Van in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Soflov FC were awarded a corner. David Oriol went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Soflov FC's Marco Domeka getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 24th match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Falcão in the 28th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Esteves during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliks Nieruchliwy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Osvaldo Olguín in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Reko-Recko 03™'s Selman Ruzi. Patricio Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Feliks Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho Falcão in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Salamon saved Soflov FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Feliks Nieruchliwy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Donatello came out of the goal and Feliks Nieruchliwy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Salamon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho Falcão's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Robinho Falcão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Salamon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Falcão in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Feliks Nieruchliwy hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Robinho Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odd Van got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Robinho Falcão. 73 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's Percy Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Eduardo Donatello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Donatello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Percy Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Odd Van made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Camilo Fresnedo immediately put the ball in play.
