The referee gave Coritiba Blazers FC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jean do Nascimento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello. 1-1. Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Veiga in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Coritiba Blazers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe de Souza came free, but Edmundo Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Robinho Falcão from a close distance when the talented Edmundo Meirelles managed to make a qualified save. Coritiba Blazers FC's players were relieved. Reko-Recko 03™'s Giuseppe de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robinho Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Edmundo Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robinho Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Edmundo Meirelles made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Veiga in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Donatello saved Reko-Recko 03™ from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Federico Valverde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano Novaes to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Coritiba Blazers FC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Favoretto. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Giuseppe de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Giuseppe de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Falcão in the 62nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Selman Ruzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Donatello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano Novaes. In the 76th minute of the match Camilo Fresnedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundo Meirelles skillfully saved the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Trevisan came free, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Coritiba Blazers FC's zone, Robinho Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Meirelles came out of the goal and Robinho Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Reynaldo Trevisan sent off a good shot on target. Robinho Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Federico Valverde charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Valverde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Federico Valverde hit a great ball. When Telmo Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coritiba Blazers FC's protests and gave Telmo Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Coritiba Blazers FC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Favoretto. Gal Van struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Edmundo Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reko-Recko 03™. 95 minutes into the match, Jean do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Eduardo Donatello. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The Reko-Recko 03™ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
