In the 23rd minute of the match, Lonzo Corullon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Viktor Tolnai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Popolizio came free, but Viktor Tolnai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Popolizio FBC's zone, György Weszely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phelipe Escarza came out of the goal and György Weszely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Bökönyi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Popolizio to make the kick off. György Weszely charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling György Weszely in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phelipe Escarza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktor Tolnai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Confesor Ballugera, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Although Deportivo Popolizio FBC had been in control for most of the match, Valencia CF Mindszent still came away with the win.
